Saddle pad

The saddle pad is the layer between the saddle and the horse's back.

What is it for?

It protects the back, absorbs sweat and keeps the saddle clean.

Saddle pads come in cotton, foam or with a sheepskin edge, in square and shaped (numnah) forms. Correct placement keeps the withers and spine clear.
